Pengaruh Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Terhadap Penguatan Civic Disposition di MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru

This research is motivated by efforts to improve character education and the desire to build students' civic character which is increasingly important in line with the phenomenon of moral degradation that often occurs among students. This can be seen from the rise of behavior that does not reflect civic character, such as: lack of student manners, truancy from school, lack of student discipline and others. For this reason, efforts are needed to perfect civic character ( civic disposition ) which can not only be done through PPKn learning, but can also be done through extracurricular scout activities. Scout extracurricular activities are very relevant activities in answering students' character problems and are a forum for forming national character.
Based on this background, of course the researcher is very interested in conducting research with the problem formulation in this research, namely, Is there a Positive Influence of Scout Extracurriculars on Strengthening Civic Disposition at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru? And the objectives of this research are; to find out whether there is a positive influence of Scout extracurricular activities on strengthening civic disposition at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The benefit of this research is that this research is expected to provide benefits and become a source of reading literature in writing scientific papers and can be a source of information for extracurricular organizers, especially scouts, who can provide practical values to strengthen civic disposition .
The method used in this research uses quantitative methods with a statistical approach. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 24 statements. The population in this study was 40 students and the sample was determined by the entire population or called total sampling . Based on the results of research regarding the influence of scout extracurriculars on strengthening civic disposition at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, it can be concluded that there is an influence of scout extracurriculars on strengthening civic disposition at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.
Based on the results of a simple regression test , an X regression coefficient value of 0.799 was obtained, which states that for every 1% increase in the Scout Extracurricular value, the Strengthening Civic Disposition value increases by 0.799 and shows a positive direction. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research is accepted and the Scout Extracurricular has a positive effect on strengthening civic disposition at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.
This can be proven by carrying out a hypothesis test using the F test. Based on data processing using IBM SPSS 25, the calculated F is obtained at 14.933 which is then compared with the F table. amounting to 4.098 with a confidence level of 95% and a significance level of 5%, which means F count > F table (14.933 > 4.098), thus the hypothesis is accepted. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination or relationship correlation (r) was obtained at 0.787 and was in the Strong category and the coefficient of determination (r-square) was 51.7%, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of scouting extracurricular activities on strengthening civic disposition which is 51. 7%. Meanwhile, 48.3% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
