Pengaruh Ekstrakurikuler Rohis terhadap Kecerdasan Spiritual Siswa di MAN 2 Kota Pekanbaru
This research was motivated by spiritual extracurriculars and the spiritual intelligence of students at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. In line with Law Number 20 of 2003 which confirms that the aim of Indonesian education is to develop the potential of students. in this case so that students are able to become human beings who believe and are devoted to God Almighty (Law Number 20 of 2003). In order to provide education and develop student behavior at school, there are two types of activities carried out, namely intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Rohis extracurricular (Rohani Islam) is one of the activities at school which aims to provide teaching, da'wah and share Islamic knowledge to students at school. This activity is usually carried out outside of main lesson hours and is a forum for students who are interested in deepening their understanding of Islam and practicing it in their daily lives.
Based on this background, it is of course very necessary to carry out research with a problem formulation, namely whether there is an influence of Rohis Extracurriculars on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of Rohis Extracurricular on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. The theoretical benefit of this research is to increase insight and knowledge for the school regarding the influence of Rohis Extracurricular on the Spiritual Intelligence of Students in Man 2 Pekanbaru City. The practical benefits of this research are especially for teachers and students, as study and review material to better understand and learn how important the spiritual intelligence of an organization in a school is.
The method in this research is associative quantitative with causal relationships and produces statistical data. The data collection instrument is using a questionnaire consisting of 35 statements. The population in this study were students who took part in spiritual extracurricular activities at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, totaling 60 people and the sample determined was the entire population or called total sampling.
Based on the results of research related to the Influence of Rohis Extracurriculars on Students' Spiritual Intelligence, the X regression coefficient value was 0.758, which means that for every 1% additional Rohis Extracurricular value, the spiritual intelligence value will increase by 0.758. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be interpreted that the direction of influence of Spiritual Extracurricular (variable X) on Spiritual Intelligence (variable Y) is positive.
Then a hypothesis test was carried out using the F test, obtained Fcount of 45.630 and Ftable of 4.007 with a significant value of 0.00 ≤ 0.05. where this shows that Fcount ≥ Ftable so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the hypothesis in this research is accepted and Spiritual Extracurricular activities (variable X) influence Spiritual Intelligence (Y). Then the relationship value (R) is obtained, which is 0.664, so there is a strong influence by the Independent variable (Spiritual Extracurricular) on the Dependent variable (Spiritual Intelligence) and the coefficient of determination test result (R-Square) is 0.440, which means the influence of spiritual extracurricular (variable on spiritual intelligence (variable Y) is 44.0%
