Pengaruh Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Paskibra Terhadap Karakter Tanggung Jawab Siswa Sman 5 Pekanbaru

This research was motivated by the extracurricular activities of Paskibra on the responsible character of students at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the influence of extracurricular activities of paskibra has a positive effect on the responsible character of students at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The aim of this research is to find out whether the influence of extracurricular activities in Paskibra has a positive effect on the responsible character of students at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The theoretical benefit of conducting this research is that the results of this research are intended to be able to make contributions in educational aspects, especially academic writing, as well as being able to increase knowledge from various parties. The practical use of this research is that it is able to help broaden insight and experience regarding the influence of extracurricular activities on the student's responsible character at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.
This research method is quantitative descriptive, the data collection instrument used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 27 statements, the population in this research are students who take part in extracurricular activities for postgraduate students at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru, totaling 55 students. The sampling

of this research is based on Suharsimi Arikunto's theory which uses a saturated sampling technique (total sampling), namely if there are less than 100 subjects, it is better to take all the samples until the research is a population study of 55 students.
Based on the results of research with the results of the F test, it is known that there is a significant influence of the variable (X) Paskibra Extracurricular Activities on the variable (Y) Responsible Character. The F_count is 29.073 while the F_table is 4.02, so it can be concluded that in this case the F_count is greater than in F_table, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this statement, this research hypothesis is accepted. Then the processed statistical output was obtained, that the correlation or relationship value (r) was 0.595, so there was a moderate relationship between the independent variable (Paskibra Extracurricular Activities) and the dependent variable (Character of Responsibility). The result of the coefficient of determination (R-Square) is 0.354 or a percentage of 35.4%. So the influence of Paskibra Extracurricular Activities (Variable
Apart from that, based on the results of a simple linear regression test, a constant value of 19.716 was obtained, which means that the Paskibra Extracurricular consistency value was 19.716 and the X regression coefficient value was 0.639 with the regression equation Y = 19.716 + 0.639 Character Responsibility increased by 0.639. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be interpreted that the hypothesis in this research is accepted and the influence of Paskibra Extracurricular Activities (Variable X) on Responsible Character (Variable Y) is positive.
