Livestock development is an important aspect of agricultural development, especially during the economic and monetary crisis. The role of the livestock sub-sector in agricultural development is quite significant, one of which is the poultry industry, where the poultry industry is the main trigger for business development in the livestock sub-sector. Apart from its role in taking advantage of employment opportunities. Apart from that, increasing the broiler chicken population will certainly have several impacts on society. The existence of chicken farms has environmental and social impacts that are felt by farmers and other people who are near the farms. The problems that can be raised are the impact of the existence of broiler chicken farming on society and the appropriate business management strategy to be applied to broiler chicken farming in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The aim of this research is to find out appropriate strategies to be applied in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency in efforts to manage broiler chicken businesses. The survey was conducted using interview techniques, questionnaires and literature study. The analysis used uses SWOT analysis. Interview and distribute questionnaires to breeders and communities around broiler cages in Pujud District. The results of research on the best strategy for managing the broiler chicken business in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency is to utilize the availability of raw materials, the availability of sufficient capital to meet the high demand for chicken meat, increasing good cooperation with sapronak suppliers and collectors/agents in order to balance the needs. restaurants that grow rapidly and carry out good sanitation of the pens so as not to cause environmental pollution and process livestock manure into fertilizer so that it can provide additional income and maintain social relations with the community.
