Strategi Komunikasi Pemasaran Abidari Islamic Creative School Dalam Membangun Brand Awareness Sebagai Sekolah Ramah Anak Di Kota Pekanbaru
It was recorded that in 2021 there were 222 kindergarten schools designated as Child Friendly Schools in Pekanbaru City. Child Friendly School is a program to realize safe, clean, healthy, caring, and cultured environmental conditions, which are able to ensure the fulfillment of children's rights and protection from violence, discrimination, and other mistreatment, as long as children are in education units, and support children's participation, especially in planning, policy, learning and supervision. With so many Child-Friendly Schools in Pekanbaru City, it certainly increases competition, so that every kindergarten school must be able to show advantages and advantages over other schools. One of the Child Friendly Schools in Pekanbaru City, namely Abidari Islamic Creative School. Abidari Islamic Creative School was established on September 18, 2014. Of course, there have been many marketing activities, especially marketing communication strategies carried out by Abidari Islamic Creative School in promoting it as a Child Friendly School in Pekanbaru City. This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategies used by Abidari Islamic Creative School.
The method used in this study is a qualitative method that is descriptive. The location of this research was carried out at Abidari Islamic Creative School, precisely on Jalan Lumba-Lumba no. 22, South Tengkerang, Pekanbaru City. The concept used in this study uses marketing communication, forms of marketing communication, marketing communication strategies as well as brand awareness and Child Friendly Schools. The research subjects were internal and external parties of Abidari Islamic Creative School who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman. While the technique of checking the validity of data, namely by using data triangulation.
The results showed that the marketing activities carried out by Abidari Islamic Creative School are very diverse, namely advertising, sales promotion, social media marketing, event marketing, personal selling and word of mouth. Of the 6 forms of marketing communication strategies, there are 2 forms of marketing communication that are influential in the implementation of brand awareness marketing Abidari Islamic Creative School.
