Strategi Komunikasi Pariwisata Pokdarwis Dalam Pengembangan Objek Wisata Taman Terbuka Siak Riverside Pada Kampung Bandar Senapelan Pekanbaru

Siak Riverside Tourism Area has a tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis), which has a role in raising awareness and increasing participation of the surrounding community in developing tourist villages. The obstacle currently faced is the lack of interest from tourists coming to de area. This research aims to determine the tourism communication strategy and froms of development of Bandar Village tourist attractions carried out by Pokdarwis.
This research uses qualitative research methods with the presentation of inductive analysis. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. This research was conducted at the Siak Riverside Open Park Tourist attraction Kampung Bandar Senapelan Pekanbaru.
The results of the research show that the strategy carried out by Pokdarwis is promation through social media such as facebook and Instagram by sharing picture posts, videos, and positive review about tourist attractions that attract the interest of visitors. From of developing tourst attractions by building public facilities, revitalizing parks and bridges and relocating more regular selling places. Services relate to technical aspects that prepare products and services to be provided to tourists depending on the needs of toursts who come either individually or in groups In short, Pokdarwis has carried out a communication strategy with social media to promote the Siak Riversaide open park tourist area and has also carried out various developments to attract tourists to visit. In order to increase the progress of tourist attractions so that they are widely known, it is hoped that the use of communication strategies will involve the wider community. Services relate tto technical aspects that prepare products and service to be provided to tourists. In this case, what needs special attention is the quality of products/services and timeliness, as well as the tourism servicer provided to help foreign tourists enjoy tourism, which is provoded by the pokdarwis member, not only in tourism but also in services at tourist attractions such as available accommodation and pther public facilities.
