Pengaruh Person-Centred Care Terhadap Self Management Pasien Post Revaskularisasi
Introduction: Treatments of coronary heart disease problems through revascularization procedures such as Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) is one of the solutions to enhance patient’s quality of life. Person-Centred Care (PCC) approach and patient’s self-management are needed for recovery after revascularization intervention. This study aims to identify PCC’s impact on patient’s self-management after revascularization. Methods: This research uses a quantitative correlative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study is a post-vascular patient consisting of 77 people selected using purposive sampling techniques. PCC was measured using the Patient Assesment of Chronic Illness Care (PACIC) and through revascularisation self-management behaviour questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the significance value of post hoc Bonferroni test. Results: Finding of this study found that the characteristics of the majority of respondents were in the age range 46-55 years (41,6%), the majority were male (83,1%), majority educational background was high school/equal (50,6%). The revascularization types experienced by patients are PCI (88,3%) and CABG (11,7%) with a post procedure duration of ≤1 month (29,9%) The average PCC score perceived by patients is 57,5 indicating moderate PCC implementation, and most self-management patients were in the middle group (70-104). The result of bivariate analysis obtained p-value: 0,000 indicates an impact of PCC on patient’s self-management post revascularization. Conclusion: A person-centred treatment approach can encourage and improve self-management of patients after revascularization. Thus, implementing PCC has significant implications for enhancing health services, which impact the quality of life of patients with cardiovascular problems
