Perbedaan Pendidikan Kesehatan Melalui Media Video Dan Booklet Terhadap Kemampuan Keluarga Dalam Melakukan Mobilisasi Dan Rom Pada Pasien Stroke
Introduction: Stroke patients need family help in mobilizing and ROM to prevent complications. Video media and booklets are media in providing health education that can increase the ability of families to mobilize and ROM in stroke patients. Methods: This study used an experimental quasy design with the Two group pre test-post test method. The research sample was 30 respondents with a purposive sampling technique. The bivariate analysis used was by the mc. nemar and ficsher's exact tests. Results: Univariate analysis showed that the majority of respondents were female (70%), aged 31-40 years (30%), high school education (60%), IRT employment (50%), and patient relationships as children (43.3%). The results of the test of the ability of the family before being given the majority of video media interventions were 13 respondents (86.7%), after being given the majority intervention with the good category of 12 respondents (80%). In the media booklet before being given the intervention, the majority with less than 14 respondents (93.3%) while after being given the health education majority had good abilities as many as 11 respondents (73.3%). The results of the fischer's exact test with a p value of 0.009 showed that there was a difference between video media and booklet health education. Conclusion: as a medium in health education, video media and booklets both have an influence in improving the ability of families to mobilize and ROM in stroke patients. However, after being given the intervention video media is more effective compared to booklet media.
