Hubungan Panjang Berat Dan Faktor Kondisi Ikan Gulamah (Johnius Trachycephalus Bleeker, 1851) Di Perairan Estuaria Kota Dumai

This research aims to determine the relationship between length-weight and condition factors of Gulamah Fish (Johnius trachycephalus) in estuarine waters of Dumai City. This research was conducted in May - July 2023, located in the estuary of Dumai River and Masjid River, Dumai City, Riau Province. This study used survey method, fish samples were caught by fishermen with fish sampling following the habits of local fishermen and fish sampling was carried out 3 times in 3 months at the Purnama Dumai Fish Auction Place (TPI Purnama). The length-weight relationship of gulamah fish is negative allometric (b < 3), where the value of b in males and females is 2.37 and 2.85 which means that length growth is faster than weight growth. The condition factor (K) of male gulamah fish during the study was 0.968 and female 1.034 with an average of 1.011, which means that the fish is classified as flat or not plump.
