Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kepatuhan Perawat Dalam Pelaksanaan Standar Prosedur Operasional Pencegahan Risiko Jatuh
Introduction: Patient safety is a crucial aspect of hospital healthcare, especially in terms of fall prevention. Despite the implementation of standard operating procedures (SPOs), the number of falls in patients still remains high. Therefore, this study will explore the factors that influence nurses' compliance in implementing SPO Methods: This study used a quantitative correlative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 55 inpatient nurses selected using stratified random sampling technique. Variables were measured using nurse demographic data, nurse self-awareness questionnaire and nurse feelings questionnaire towards fall risk prevention facilities. Data were analyzed using the significance value in the Chi Square test. Results: Researchers found the characteristics of the majority of respondents in the early adult age range (18-40) years (72.2%), with female gender (90.9%), educational background S1 / D3 (60%). The majority have worked for >5 years (85.5%). On average, the majority of nurses' self-awareness was good (63.6%). Nurses felt that the optimal fall risk prevention facilities were (58,2%) The majority of nurses who were compliant in implementing SOPs were (69.1%). The results of bivariate analysis showed that age, length of work, self-awareness, and nurses' feelings towards facilities were significantly related to nurses' compliance in implementing SOPs for fall risk prevention, while gender, and education level were not. Conclusion: Nurses' compliance in implementing SOPs can be influenced by age, length of work, self-awareness, and nurses' feelings towards fall risk prevention facilities.
