Perkembangan Organisasi Paski-Riau Dalam Melestarikan Seni Teater Melayu Komedi Pada Masa Kepemimpinan Otong Lenon (2005-2010)

A community is a group of individuals who come together with shared experiences, ideas, and common goals. Indonesia hosts numerous communities, including those focused on the arts. This study examines the development of the PaSKI-Riau organization in preserving Malay comedy theater arts during Otong Lenon's leadership from 2005 to 2010. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that several programs were implemented by PaSKI-Riau to sustain and promote Malay comedy theater arts during Otong Lenon's leadership. These initiatives significantly enhanced the appreciation and recognition of Malay comedy theater arts both within Riau Province and beyond. The study demonstrates that PaSKI-Riau has made substantial contributions to preserving and promoting Malay comedy theater arts in Riau.
