Hubungan Lama Pengobatan Dengan Tingkat Depresi Pada Pasien Tb Mdr
Introduction: Patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) who are undergoing treatment often experience psychological problems, including depression. This can be caused by several factors, such as the length of treatment time, comorbidities, socio-economic status, and stigma. This study aims to determine the relationship between the length of treatment and the level of depression in MDR-TB patients. Method: This research is a cross-sectional study. The sampling technique used was total sampling, with a total of 32 respondents. A demographic questionnaire and the PHQ-9 were used as instruments. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman rank test. Results: The results of the Spearman rank test showed a p-value of 0.000 < (α = 0.05), indicating a strong negative correlation (-0.679). Most levels of mild and moderate depression were found in patients with a treatment duration of 1-6 months. Suggestion: Health workers and families should provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout the treatment process.
