Faktor Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kualitas Tidur Mahasiswa Yang Sedang Menulis Skripsifakultas Keperawatan Universitas Riau
Introduction: Good sleep quality is very important for physical and mental health, especially for students who are working on a thesis or other academic assignments. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the quality of sleep of students who write a thesis and which factors are most influential. Methods: This study used a quantitative correlational analysis design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study was 170 respondents who were taken based on inclusion criteria using stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires on respondents' characteristics, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Perceveid Academic Stress Scale (PASS) and Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Analyzed using Fisher's Exact and Pearson Chi Square alternative and Multiple Logistic Regression Results: The majority of respondents (97.6%) were in the early adult age range (20-25) years, female gender (86.5%) and (90.0%) respondents reported experiencing moderate academic stress. In addition, (37.6%) of respondents did moderate activities, screen use was more than 4 hours a day (99.4%) of respondents. The majority of students who wrote a thesis had poor sleep quality (79.4%). Bivariate analysis showed that academic stress (p-value = 0.019), physical activity (p-value = 0.001) and gender (p-value = 0.000) had an association with the sleep quality of students writing a thesis. Based on the multivariate test, it was found that the gender factor was the factor that most influenced sleep quality with a value of (p-value = 0.000). Conclusion: Gender factor is a variable that has a significant influence on the quality of sleep of students who are working on the thesis Faculty of Nursing, Riau University.
