Aplikasi Metode Geolistrik Konfigurasi Schlumberger Untuk Mengidentifikasi Keberadaan Air Tanah Di Bumi Perkemahan Muchtar Lutfi Universitas Riau
The area of Simpang Baru Village, Pekanbaru City, has the characteristics of a humid tropical climate with an average temperature of 28°C. The area includes the University of Riau, which has an area of 700 Ha, including the Muchtar Lutfi Camping Ground. This area is dominated by brown forest soil with a clay texture. The purpose of this research is to identify the presence of aquifers in the area. The method used is the Schlumberger configuration geoelectric method to effectively and efficiently detect groundwater surfaces by measuring soil layer resistivity values. Measurements were taken along four lines with lengths of 150 m for lines 1 and 2, and 200 m for lines 3 and 4. The results showed that line 1 had a resistivity value of 284 Ωm at a depth of around 12,8 m. Line 2 had a resistivity value of 108 Ωm at a depth of around 15,2 m. Line 3 had a resistivity value of 261 Ωm at a depth of around 16,8 m. Line 4 had a resistivity value of 91,67 Ωm at a depth of >50 m. Based on the survey results and research, lines 1, 2, and 3 have the same depth as the survey results of the bore well depth (12-18 m) for each faculty. However, line 4 has a different depth of >50 m because the type of rock below the surface at a depth of 12-18 m is not flowing with water, so the rock is not filled with water, and its resistivity is not detected as having groundwater, thus it does not have a resistivity value ranging from 0,5 – 300 Ωm. The conclusion obtained based on the acquisition data from the four survey lines, on average, the identification of the presence of aquifers is in the depth range of 12 to 18 meters. This correlates with the depth of the existing bore wells in the study area, which ranges from 2 to 3 pipe segments, with each pipe segment being 6 meters long.
