Deteksi Kebocoran Dan Sumbatan Pada Variasi Diameter Pipa Kecil Berbasis Sinyal Suara
ABSTRACT
Piping systems are an essential component in many activities where the main purpose is to transport fluid from one piece of equipment to another. There are many types of fluids that pipes can transport, be it safe fluids or hazardous fluids. Damage to pipelines can be in the form of leaks, blockages, and ruptures causing personal injury, facility damage, environmental damage, and economic loss. Factors that can cause damage include natural disasters, corrosion, third-party damage, and mechanical failure. Therefore, prevention of damage to pipes is very important. In this research, damage detection is carried out in the form of leaks and blockages in a variety of small pipe diameters using sound signals. The sound signal is captured by a microphone with excitation issued by a loudspeaker. Sound signals captured in the form of normal pipe conditions, pipe conditions with leaks, pipe conditions with blockages, pipe conditions with combined damage and in simple pipe systems with combined damage conditions. The sound signal data is processed with Time Domain and Wavelet Transform methods. The results obtained can be analyzed that the position of damage with the smallest estimation error is in the 1/2 inch pipe diameter data with the condition of 2 blockages, and the largest estimation error is in the 3/4 inch pipe diameter data with the condition of 2 leaks. The size of the damage in the form of leaks, the larger the diameter of the leak given, the smaller the wavelet value will be, while the condition of the blockage, the larger the diameter of the blockage, the greater the wavelet value.
