Efektivitas Media Edukasi Vas (Video Antisipasi Stunting) Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Dalam Pencegahan Stunting

Introduction: Stunting is a global public health problem, which has important and long-term consequences on child growth and development. Pregnant women have an important role in preventing stunting by promoting their health knowledge and practices during pregnancy. Educational media, such as videos, has become one of the most popular tools in delivering health education to the public. Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of educational media VAS (Video Anticipation of Stunting) on the knowledge of pregnant women in preventing stunting. Methods: The design of this research was quasy experiment with Non-Equivalent with Control Group design. The study population was 109 pregnant women in the working area of Puskesmas Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru with purposive sampling technique obtained a sample size of 68 respondents who were divided into 34 experimental group respondents who were given educational media and 34 control group respondents. The study instrument used a knowledge questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis methods using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney for univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: The result of average level knolledge of pragnant women after being given VAS educational media intervention in the experimental group was 86.21 and the control group was 60.38 with a p value 0.000
