Strategi Komunikasi Masyarakat Dalam Pengembangan Objek Wisata Unggulan Pantai Tanjung Ambat Di Kecamatan Buru Karimun
Buru District has 7 tourist destinations, one of which is Tanjung Ambat Beach, which is a leading destination in Buru District. However, in attracting tourist visitors, an effective communication strategy is needed to create tourist attractions in developing tourist attractions. Local communities who are business owners play a direct role in developing the Tanjung Ambat Beach tourist attraction. The aim of this research is to determine communicator strategies, messages, media channels and audience determination in developing the superior tourist attraction of Tanjung Ambat Beach in Buru Karimun District.
This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects in this research consisted of 7 research subjects as informants using purposive and incidental techniques. Data collection techniques are grouped into three parts, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research uses the Miles and Hubermen interactive data model. Checking the validity of the data using data using extended participation and trianguulation techniques.
The results of this research show that the communication strategy carried out by local communities which plays a role in developing the superior tourist attraction of Tanjung Ambat Beach in Buru Karimun District is by determining based on the four elements of the Lasswell communication model. Communicators by conveying messages introduce tourist attractions to the public. A persuasive message conveyed via the Instagram social media channel with the tag line "Come on holiday to Tanjung Ambat Beach". The media strategy used by social media Instagram and Facebook is very effective in promoting tourist destinations. And also determine the benefits of working together with community leaders and youth in increasing tourist visits by holding events such as karaoke competitions, sailing canoes and other sports games in order to develop and increase tourist visits so that audiences are interested in visiting the leading tourist destination Tanjung Ambat Beach in Buru District.
