Hubungan Aktivitas Fisik Dan Kualitas Tidur Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pada Pasien Penyakit Ginjal Kronis Yang Menjalani Hemodialisis
Introduction: The quality of life of chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis must be maintained to ensure the physical and psychological well-being of patients. Impaired physical activity and sleep quality are the most common problems and become a problem for chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity and sleep quality with quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional study conducted on 79 patients who have undergone hemodialysis for more than 6 months. The study was conducted from March to April 2024. The questionnaires used were the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Kidney Disease Quality of Life Short Form (KDQOL-SF). Simultaneous F test was performed in statistical analysis. Results: There were 42 respondents who had moderate quality of life (53.2%), 65 respondents had light activity (82.3%) and 55 respondents had poor sleep quality (69.6%). The results of statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between physical activity and quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis (p = 0.001) and there was a relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis (p = 0.038). Conclusion: The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between physical activity and quality of life and sleep quality and quality of life, but research is needed that conducts interventions to improve physical activity and sleep quality in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis.
