This research is motivated by conditions where Fixed Assets have not been properly inventoried in accordance with the provisions applicable to the ministries/state institutions that are the targets for structuring and controlling Fixed Assets. The direction of the steps to control inventory and assessment of fixed assets is how to manage state-owned goods in each use of goods to be more accountable and transparent, so that goods can still be optimally used and utilized. to support service functions to the community/stakeholders.
The aim of the research is to determine the implementation of fixed asset management and to determine the obstacles in managing fixed assets at the State Islamic University of Sulutan Syarif Kasim Riau.
The form or method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative methods. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and direct observation.
Based on research conducted, it was found that the management of fixed assets at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University Riau Pekanbaru was not running well, as well as the implementation of fixed asset management at the Sultan Syarif State Islamic University Kasim Riau Pekanbaru was not running optimally according to government regulations and there were also obstacles. in implementing fixed asset management at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University Riau.
