This research was motivated by Kiky Saputri who roasted public figures. Namely Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo, but they received different responses from the two figures. The aim of this research is to look at Kiky Saputri's social criticism in roasting at the Pak report event on the Trans7 Official Youtube channel entitled "Kiky Roasting Anies Baswedan, Auto Heart Squad" and "Kiky Saputri Roasting Ganjar Pranowo" using Teun A Van Dijk's analysis.
This type of research is descriptive qualitative with critical discourse analysis by Teun A Van Dijk which has three dimensions, namely text, social cognition and social context. Dijk combines these three dimensions of discourse into a unified analysis. The research subject is the Trans7 YouTube Channel as a medium that shows Kiky Saputri's roasting video of Ganjar Pranowo and Anies Baswedan. Meanwhile, the object of research is the text in the discourse on the Trans7 YouTube channel. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation.
The results of this research show that the information in each sentence in the video of the Lapor Pak Trans7 program entitled "Kiky Saputri Roasting Anies Baswedan, Auto Heart Troop" and "Kiky Saputri Roasting Ganjar Pranowo" is related to the information in other sentences, and has an element of coherence in it, so that a discourse structure is formed in the form of form and meaning. The delivery of information in the video is packaged in an expressive and simple language style. Teun A. Van Dijk's discourse analysis looks at the information in the video of the Lapor Pak event entitled "Kiky Saputri Roasting Anies Baswedan, Auto Heart Troop" and "Kiky Saputri Roasting Ganjar Pranowo" which is a representation of Indonesian society's anxiety about politics in Indonesia.
