Komposisi Dan Kepadatan Sampah Laut (Marine Debris) Di Kawasan Mangrove Desa Concong Dalam Kecamatan Concong Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Marine debris is a type of pollutant that commonly found in the mangrove ecosystems. This purpose of this study was to determine the composition and density of marine debris in the mangrove ecosystem in Concong Dalam Village. Sample was carried out in January - February 2024. The method used is the survey method. Sampling was carried out three times (once/2 weeks) at 3 observation stations, namely S1 (residential area), S2 (fishing area) and S3 (natural mangrove forest). Marine debris was collected from 3 plots (10 x 10 m) placed along the transect line. The types of marine debris found in the mangrove ecosystem consist of plastic, glass, clothing, styrofoam, nets, cans, rubber, wood, leaves and fruit. Marine debris density based on observation location is: S1 (0.007 – 1.199 items/m2; 0.898 – 27.378 gram/m2), S2 (0.002 – 1.042 items/m2; 0.311 – 25.772 gram/m2), S3 (0.003 – 0.802 items/m2; 0.222 – 49.995 gram/m2). The most common marine debris found in plastics and leaves.
