TOURISM MARKETING COMMUNICATION OF POKDARWIS IN DEVELOPING LANGGAM VILLAGE TOURISM VILLAGE IN LANGGAM VILLAGE, LANGGAM DISTRICT, PELALAWAN REGENCY

Pokdarwis is an organization formed by the government to develop a tourist destination. In this case, Pokdarwis Tugu Tali Bapilin Tigo Langgam wants to advance the tourism potential in Kampung Langgam Tourism Village, where 90Kampung Langgam Tourism Village is a village that has tourism potential that can be developed and introduced to the wider public, including Kampung Langgam has the potential for traditional and cultural tourism, which can be seen from the lives of its people who are still thick with customs and culture. In addition, Kampung Langgam Tourism Village also has tourist attractions that can be visited including Lake Tajwid, Tugu Tali Bapilin Tigo, Rumah Singgah Datuk Engku Lelo Putra, Balai Anjungan Ranah Tanjung Bunga, and Rimbo Tanah Baguro. The purpose of this study is to determine how Pokdarwis tourism marketing communication is in developing Kampung Langgam Tourism Village in Langgam Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency.
This study uses a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach, in which data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique is to reduce data, present data, draw conclusions, and evaluate. The data validity checking technique uses triangulation.
The results of this study indicate that Pokdarwis conducts tourism marketing communication using three stages in the concept of destination branding. First, mapping market potential, namely developing the potential of customs and culture in Kampung Langgam Tourism Village, identifying current interests and trends, utilizing technology, then developing tourist attractions and typical tourism products in Kampung Langgam Tourism Village. Second, promotions using online media, social media and doing good things in the community. Third, participating with several parties including the community, government, traditional apparatus, MSMEs and companies.
