Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Energi Listrik Pada Beban Menggunakan Sensor Pzem-004t Berbasis IOT
Fossil energy is widely used to produce electricity in Indonesia. Continuous use of fossil energy can have serious impacts on the environment, such as a decrease in resource reserves. The reduction of fossil energy can cause quite high electricity rates. To meet electricity needs in Indonesia, which are still very dependent on fossil energy, the use of renewable energy that’s still relatively low compared to several developed countries in the world must be encouraged. This research will focus on energy monitoring to prevent excessive use of electrical energy, namely by collecting data using practical components such as the PZEM-004T, ESP32, and Arduino Uno sensors. The PZEM-004T sensor will detect current, voltage, power, and electrical energy and it is integrated with the ESP32, which works based on the Internet of Things, providing a sophisticated solution for monitoring and managing energy consumers efficiently. By utilizing internet connectivity, the PZEM-004T sensor allows users to real-time monitor critical parameters via the Thingspeak web. This research produces an IoT-based electrical energy monitoring system device for loads that has high accuracy in measuring electrical parameters and makes it easier to monitor electrical energy consumption.
