Social media instagram @kanimpekanbaru is a media that Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office had as public service information. In its management there is a Cyber Public Relations strategy which functions to ensure information services always run optimally. a The research objective is to find out the Cyber Public Relations strategy Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office in optimizing public information services through social media Instagram.
This research uses qualitative methods. The research was conducted at Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office and analyzed the Instagram social media timeline @kanimpekanbaru. The subjects of this research were the TIKIM Department of the Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office and immigration applicants who were selected using a purposive technique. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive Miles and Huberman. Meanwhile, the data validity checking technique is source triangulation.
The results of this research show that Cyber Public Relations activities via social media Instagram carried out by the at Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office in the process of optimizing public information services are very diverse. The Cyber Public Relations strategy is implemented in line with the public relations four-step process concept such as situation analysis, strategy planning, implementation and evaluation. The Cyber Public Relations strategy is carried out by looking at the internal and external public situation, in the planning there are strategies regarding creating social media content, distributing content, interacting in direct messages and comment columns, creating narratives and publications, implementing it by providing responsive and responsible services, and evaluation is carried out by looking at the results of community satisfaction surveys and service testimonials via social media. Public service information through socia media instagram of Immigration Class I TPI Pekanbaru Office is still running optimally, testified by looking at the community satisfaction index and testimonials on social media which receive very good static.
