Analisis Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Pasca Pandemi Di Tk Aisyiyah 3 Pekanbaru

Post-pandemic observations of children aged 5 to 6 years at Kindergarten
Aisyiyah 3 Pekanbaru show that children's emotional intelligence is still lacking
or minimal after the pandemic. In early June, the children experienced a lot of
emotional difficulties. This research aims to find out how the emotional
intelligence of children aged 5 to 6 years has changed after the pandemic at
Kindergarten Aisyiyah 3 Pekanbaru. The research used by the author in this
research is quantitative research with descriptive research type. The population
of this study was all children aged 5 to 6 years after the pandemic at
Kindergarten Aisyiyah 3 Pekanbaru, totaling 45 students. The sample in this study
consisted of 16 children using the stratified random sampling technique.
Collection technology. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers,
it can be concluded that the analysis of the emotional intelligence of children
aged 5-6 years in groups A and B of Kindergarten Aisyiyah 3 Pekanbaru is
classified as good with a presentation of 58%. Which is 16 children, 8 boys and 8
girls. Of course, these results need to be maintained and even improved to achieve
better results in the development of children's emotional intelligence. Apart from
that, the results obtained can be used as assessment material and benchmarks to
accompany and guide children at their growth and development stages so that
they can develop good emotional intelligence.
