This research aims to determine the impact of the construction of the Bandar Sri Setia Raja International Port on the social economy of the Selatbaru Village Community, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency in 2003-2022. Considering that the event that is the subject of the research is a past event, the type of research used is historical research (historical method). The research results obtained show that the Bandar Sri Setia Raja International Port began construction in 2003 and was completed in 2007. The new port could be inaugurated and operational in 2010 after the dredging of the ship berth area was completed. The governance of the Bandar Sri Setia Raja International Port cannot be separated from the role of the Bengkalis Regency government, which also includes the private sector as a provider of transportation services in the form of ships, while the impact of the construction of the Bandar Sri Setia Raja International Port has had a huge impact on the socio-economic conditions of the Bengkalis Regency community, especially the village community. Selatbaru is close to this port. The Bandar Sri Setia Raja International Port has an impact on the health, education, income, employment and mobility of the people of Selatbaru Village.
