Business development provides opportunities for business actors, especially MSMEs, to increase income and provide prosperity which can be achieved by having adequate business capabilities. MSMEs are required to have the ability and effort to create strategies to maintain the continuity of their business and develop it. One way that MSME players can do this is by enriching MSME players' knowledge of financial knowledge so that their management and accountability can be better accounted for like large companies. Apart from that, the need for easy access to financial institution services will make it easier for business actors to obtain capital to run each business. The combination of financial literacy and financial inclusion will be a good stimulus in supporting the performance of MSMEs to transition to a better direction.
This research aims to see the influence of financial inclusion and literacy on improving the performance and development of MSMEs assisted by Bank Riau Kepri Syariah in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this research is all MSMEs assisted by Bank Riau Kepri Syariah in Pekanbaru City in 2023, totaling 15,098 businesses. Meanwhile, sampling used the Slovin formula with an error of 10%, resulting in a total sample of 98 MSME business units taken proportionally based on business type. The analytical method used is SEM PLS veri 4.0. The research results found that inclusion and financial literacy had a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs. Then financial performance has a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs. However, inclusion and financial literacy do not have a significant effect on the development of MSMEs.
