Pengembangan Media Video Animasi Berbasis Aplikasi Plotagon Pada Materi Penjelajahan Samudra Untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kelas Xi Smk Taruna Pekanbaru
This research aims to develop animated video learning media based on the Plotagon application to increase learning interest in class XI history learning at Taruna Vocational School Pekanbaru. The type of research is Research & Development with the ADDIE development model which is divided into five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The validation results from media experts were 94%, from material experts at 94%, from history teachers at 96%, from student assessments through small group trials at 84% and large group trials at 92.16% with the overall category "very feasible" . Apart from that, there was an increase in students' interest in learning as indicated by the increase in the percentage results of the student interest in learning questionnaire. Students' interest in learning before using animated video media in small groups was 59.48% in the "Enough" category, and after using animated video learning media it was 84.35% in the "Very High" category. Students' interest in learning before using animated video media in the large group was 52.82% in the "Enough" category, and after using animated video learning media it was 91.73% in the "Very High" category. It can be said that the animated video learning media based on the Plotagon application can be used as a means to increase students' interest in learning history.
