Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Studi Kasus Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Dalam Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas Xi Ips Sma Negeri 1 Kampar
This research is motivated by fact that students’s learning achievement scores in history subjects are still not evenly distrubuted and there still many who get scores below the kkm with a kkm score of 75 and the learning method used are still conventional still not yet diverse. This research aims to determine the effect of the case study learning method on the learning achievement of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental-experimental type of research. The data collection method in this research is using pre-test and post-test. The samples used in this research are class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 2 as the control class, each class numbered 29 people. The result of the research stated that the post-test score from the experimental class (89.24) was higher than the control class (84.55). Based on the result of hyphothesis testing, the data obtained was that there was a significant influence on the use of the case study learning metjod on learning achievement in the material the roots of nationalism and its influence because the obtained tcount > ttable or 2.749 > 2.003 and the Sig value (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.008 < 0,05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means this research cocludes that the case study learning method which was tested in terms of influence on student learning achievement in class XI IPS science lessons at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar.
