Kampanye Keamanan Pangan Dalam Program Pasar Pangan Aman Berbasis Komunitas Oleh Balai Besar Pengawas Obat Dan Makanan (Bbpom) Di Pekanbaru
Communication science is the study of the process of exchanging information and meaning between two or more individuals. Communication science provides a strong basis for understanding and designing effective campaigns. Public markets are the spearhead of food safety where people as consumers obtain food before consumption. The lack of control and supervision led to many findings of food containing hazardous materials such as Borax, Formalin, Methanil Yellow and Rhodamin B. To overcome this, BBPOM in Pekanbaru held a Community-Based Safe Food Market program in an effort to increase public awareness about food safety and hazardous materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the campaign planning, campaign implementation and campaign evaluation that occurred in the Community-Based Safe Food Market program campaign.
This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The technique of determining the research subject using purposive technique. The informants in this study amounted to 10 people. Data collection techniques in this study were through interviews, observation, and documentation. With data analysis techniques using the interactive data analysis model by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. To check the validity of the data in this study using triangulation.
The results of this study show that the Safe Food Market campaign activities are carried out in three stages, namely Planning, Implementation and Evaluation. In the planning stage, the objectives, actors and targets, messages, media and evaluation of activities were determined. Furthermore, implementation was carried out with three activities, namely food safety socialization, distribution of information media and sampling and participatory surveys. Finally, the evaluation was carried out by discussing the obstacles that occurred during the implementation of the campaign and its solutions and the success of the program in Pasar Lima Puluh Pekanbaru city.
