Pemanfaatan Taman Makam Pahlawan Kerja Sebagai Sumber Belajar Sejarah Di Sma Negeri 8 Pekanbaru

One way to use the surrounding environment as a learning resource, the history teacher of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru to use the Work Heroes Cemetery as a source of history learning for students. This study aims to: (1) find out the use of the Work Hero Cemetery as a source of learning history at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. (2) To find out the obstacles faced by teachers and students in the implementation of the use of the Work Heroes Cemetery as a source of learning history at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. (3) To determine the impact of using the Work Heroes Cemetery as a source of history learning at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, where the data obtained were collected from observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The pattern or method used by the history teacher of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in utilizing the Work Heroes Cemetery as a learning resource is to use field trips and image media (posters). There are obstacles faced by history teachers and students in the implementation of the use of the Work Heroes Cemetery as a source of historical learning. In addition, the use of the Work Heroes Cemetery as a source of historical learning has a positive impact, both on the quality of learning and the development of student character.
