Manajemen Krisis Pt Jatim Jaya Perkasa Kecamatan Kubu Babussalam Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Dalam Mengatasi Konflik Internal
The conflict at PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa in Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, has triggered a company crisis where workers are protesting against the policies set by the management. Employee dissatisfaction with management performance has led to repeated demonstrations from 2017, 2018, to 2023, disrupting company activities. Therefore, there is a need for effective crisis management to minimize the impact of the crisis. This research aims to analyze the steps and strategies of crisis management implemented by PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa in Kubu Babussalam Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, in addressing internal conflicts.
The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through interviews, documentation, and observations with five purposively selected informants. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested through triangulation.
The research findings indicate that PT Jatim Jaya Perkasa in Kubu Babussalam District, Rokan Hilir Regency, takes five steps in crisis management, namely crisis identification, crisis analysis, crisis isolation, strategy selection, and control program. Furthermore, the company's crisis management strategy includes identifying potential risks, identifying affected parties (employees, the community, local communities, and the media), following established procedures, and evaluating through briefings and positive activities.
