Pengembangan Lkpd Berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) Pada Materi Teorema Pythagoras Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP
This research aimed to develop a Student Worksheet on the Pythagorean theorem using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, which follows the qualifications of being valid and practical to facilitate the mathematical connection skills of 8th-grade junior high school students. This research was a development study that followed the 4D model, covering the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. To ensure the credibility of the student worksheet, the validation process was carried out involving three experts. Data related to the feasibility of the student worksheet were obtained through trials conducted on 8th-grade students. The results of the LKPD validity assessment were 90.77%, categorized as very valid. The results of the small group trials were 89.98%, categorized as very practical. Additionally, the practicality trials on a larger scale resulted in an average score of 89.29%, categorized as “very practical.” This supports the use of the RME approach in the Pythagorean theorem material so that students’ mathematical connection skills can be facilitated. The student worksheet proved to be valid and practical, and very useful for encouraging the development of mathematical connections in 8th-grade students.
