Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik Kelas Vii.B SMP Negeri 43 Pekanbaru
This research aims to describe the application of the DL model to improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in the material on Linear Equations and Inequalities with One Variable, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is Classroom Action Research carried out in class VII.B of SMP Negeri 43 Pekanbaru, totaling 26 students. The data collection techniques used were observation and test techniques, then the data were analyzed using narrative descriptive analysis techniques and descriptive statistical analysis. Based on analysis of teacher and student activity data, it can be seen that the learning process improves at each meeting. The percentage of students' KKTP achievement in cycle I was 61.53%, increasing in cycle II to 80.76%. The results of the analysis of learning outcomes data show that there has been an increase in learning outcomes. It was concluded that the application of the DL model can improve the learning process and increase the mathematics learning outcomes of students in Class VII.B of SMP Negeri 43 Pekanbaru, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year on the material Linear Equations and Inequalities in One Variable.
