Penggunaan Media Ppt Interaktif Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Jepang Kelas Xii Di SMA Negeri 1 Pangean
Japanese is one of the foreign languages studied in Indonesia, especially at the high school level (SMA/MA). The development of Japanese language learning in secondary schools in Indonesia aligns with the evolving curriculum. Various methods, strategies, and techniques for teaching Japanese in high schools are part of the innovation aimed at improving learning outcomes and student motivation. One such method is the use of Interactive PPT Media. Interactive PPT Media is a multimedia-based learning tool that includes elements such as images, sound, color, text, and animations, designed with engaging features that can be presented in front of the class using a projector.
This study aims to determine the effect of using interactive PPTs on enhancing student motivation in Japanese language subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean. This Quasi-Experimental study was conducted using a Pre-test and Post-test with a non-equivalent control group design, involving two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The sample for this study consisted of 26 students for the experimental class and 26 students selected for the control class. Data collection techniques in this study included pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Data analysis techniques involved statistical methods using Ms. Excel 21.
The data analysis results showed an increase in student motivation after using Interactive PPT Media. Classroom learning outcomes indicated that the visual design and interactive features of the PPT made the learning process more engaging and enjoyable for students. The use of various multimedia elements such as images, audio, video, and animations in the PPT captured students' attention, made them more enthusiastic, and clarified the learning material. This study's results suggest that integrating technology into learning, particularly through interactive PPT media, can be an effective strategy for enhancing student motivation.
