Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (Rme) Untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik Kelas VII SMP/MTS Pada Materi Perbandingan
This study aims to develop mathematics learning tools based on the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach to facilitate the mathematical problem solving skills of seventh grade students in junior high school / MTs on comparison material. The research method used is the research and development method with the 4D model which includes four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The theoretical basis used includes the concept of problem solving according to Suryani et al., which emphasizes the importance of knowledge application in various different conditions. The subjects of this study were seventh grade students, and the devices used included syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD designed using the RME approach. Based on the validation results, the average scores for the syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD were 3.79, 3.64, and 3.64 with a very valid category. The results showed that the developed learning tools are valid and effective in improving students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.
