KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH MUALAF CENTER AN-NURDALAM PEMBINAAN MUALAF DI PEKANBARU

New converts to Islam (converts) need to know their religion and God. The
religionof Islam must be studied with people who understand more about the
religion of Islam, so a convert to Islam needs to receive guidance. After
declaring to convert to Islam, the converts follow the coaching at MCA. In
the process of coaching the converts experience some obstacles, namely there
are some converts who experience difficulties / slow in understanding and
practicing learning materials. This research analyzes elements of da'wah
communication in coaching converts at the An-Nur Mualaf Center. The
purpose of the study describes who the communicator, the communicant, the
message and how the da'wah communicationmethod used by Mualaf Center
An-Nur. used by Mualaf Center An-Nur BPMA in coaching converts in
Pekanbaru.
The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Subjects selected
usingpurposive techniques amounted to 9 people, namely 4 converts, and 5
people are coaches and managers of MCA. Data collection techniques used
in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis
techniques using Millesand Huberman methods in the form of data reduction,
presentation, and drawing data conclusions, validity checking techniques
using source triangulation.
The results of the study found that the da'i communicators at MCA are
managers (administration), and coaches/teachers at MCA. The party who is
the recipient of the message/material is the convert. The da'wah methods
applied by MCA include Al-Hikmah, which is a method that begins by
providing motivation at the beginning of the coaching hour to break the
atmosphere and motivate the converts, then delivering material to converts
slowly and politely. Then the al-Maw'idhah al- Hasanah Method (Good
lessons), an example of the method is the delivery of fourmain themes /
materials, namely Tauhid, Fiqh, Akhlak, Tahsin. The third method, Al-Jidal
allati hiya ahsan, is not used by MCA, but there is only a simple discussion.
