PENGARUH AKUN X @HRDBACOT TERHADAP PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN INFORMASI LOWONGAN PEKERJAAN KEPADA FOLLOWERS
The social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, is one of the most popular social
media platforms today due to its ability to quickly shares the latest information. There are two
types of accounts on X: Auto base and manual base. One of the accounts that uses a manual
base currently is the account with the username @hrdbacot, which provides various types of
information, specifically job recruitment information. The large number of invalid job vacancy
information and hard-to-find sources of information are the reasons for this study. The purpose
of this study was to analyze whether the X @hrdbacot account affects the fulfillment of the job
information needs of the followers and to analyze how much the X @hrdbacot account
influences the fulfillment of the job information needs of the followers.
This research uses a quantitative method and uses simple linear regression as the data analysis
technique. The population of this study is all followers of the X account @hrdbacot. To obtain
the research results, the researcher took 278 samples with purposive sampling technique and
determination of the number of samples uses Isaac and Michael’s table from 908,473 followers
of @hrdbacot. This reseacr using a Likert scale questionnaire as the measurement tool. The
theory used in this research is the Stimulus-Response (S-R) Theory.
The results of this study show that there is an influence between the X account @hrdbacot and
the fulfillment of job recruitment information needs for followers. This is proved by the
coefficient value in this study, which is Y = 4.960 + 0.746X, with a constant (a) value of 4.960
and a coefficient for the social media variable @hrdbacot of 0.746. Meanwhile, the t-count of
16.268 is bigger than the t-table of 1.968, with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than
ɑ = 0.05, so the hypothesis of this research is Ha1 accepted and Ho1 rejected. The influence
of the research in this study is indicated by an R value of 0.700, with a squared result of 0.49,
meaning that the influence of the X account @hrdbacot (X) on the fulfillment of job recruitment
information needs (Y) for followers is 49%, while the remaining 51% is influenced by other
variables that’s not included in this study, so the hypothesis of this research is Ha2 accepted
and Ho2 rejected.
