This research aims to determine the effect of social studies learning outcomes on students who are given treatment in learning using animated learning media with learning using theme books only. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students at 0001 Tandun State Elementary School. This research uses a one group pretest-posttest research design. In this design, before being given treatment, the sample is first given an initial test (pretest) and at the end of learning the sample is given a final test (posttest).
