Komunikasi Persuasif Pada Program Telekolekting Dalam Menurunkan Tunggakan Iuran Peserta Oleh Bpjs Kesehatan Cabang Pekanbaru
BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch is one of the health service offices that plays an important role in improving the quality of public health, especially in Pekanbaru City. This research discusses persuasive communication in the telekolekting program in reducing arrears of participant fees by BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch. Based on this, the objectives of this study are (1) Analyzing the credibility of the persuader, (2) Examining the form of persuasive messages used, (3) Analyzing the persuasive communication channels used, (4) Examining the effects of persuasive communication, (5) and Understanding the influence of environment and time in persuasive communication at BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch.
This research uses the Appleebaum and Anatol Model. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Informants in this study were determined through purposive and accidental techniques. Which amounted to 7 people consisting of 4 BPJS Health employees, and 3 BPJS Health participants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. In addition, the data validity techniques used are source and time triangulation.
The results of this study indicate that the persuasive communication of BPJS Kesehatan Pekanbaru Branch is effective in reducing arrears of participant dues through telekolekting. The credibility of the persuader is expertise with an educational background and a trustworthy persuader. Then the form of the message used is verbal and nonverbal messages with words that do not contain elements of coercion (reminder). In addition, the effect is that participants begin to realize and care as well as changes in attitudes and thoughts so that they are motivated to pay contributions. The channel used is indirect communication (telephone and whatsapp) to contact participants. As well as the environment and time which also affect the effectiveness of persuasive communication.
