ANALISIS KEKUATAN STRUKTUR KERANGKA BODI BUS LISTRIK UKURAN BESAR MENGGUNAKAN METODE ELEMEN HINGGA
The aim of this research is to compare the magnitude of total deformation,
equivalent stress (von misses), and safety factors using alternative materials with
the original material of the body frame under conditions of straight movement
with constant speed, acceleration, deceleration, and turning on the University of
Indonesia electric bus. This research was carried out using a computational
method, namely the finite element method in Ansys software. The object analyzed
is the electric bus body frame structure by comparing the materials aluminum
6061, aluminum 6063 T6, aluminum 6065A T6.
The lowest total deformation was obtained by Aluminum 6065A T6
material, namely under conditions of constant speed, acceleration, deceleration
and turning sequentially producing a value of 0.5371 mm; 0.5374 mm;
0.5493mm; and 1.8543 mm. The equivalent stress (von misses) for each loading
condition has almost the same value for all materials. The equivalent stress (von
mises) value under conditions of constant speed, acceleration, deceleration,
turning sequentially has a value of 15.97 MPa; 15,944 MPa; 16,052 MPa; and
23,727 MPa. Aluminum 6063 T6 material has the lowest safety factor value,
namely in deceleration conditions, and turning sequentially produces a value of
14.952; 10,115.
