"PENDEKATAN QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT (QFD) DALAM PROSES PENGEMBANGAN DESAIN ALAT PENUMBANG HEWAN QURBAN"

Qurban is an activity of slaughtering sacrificial animals carried out on Eid alAdha by Muslims every year. The process of slaughtering qurban animals at the
Sabilul Jannah mosque, Jalan Pemudi, Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru Subdistrict,
already uses a qurban animal slaughtering tool. From its use, there are still
obstacles in the form of a donor tool that can only be reused after waiting for the
cow that is donated and slaughtered to die completely. This causes the length of
the process of slaughtering all the cows to be slaughtered. The purpose of this
research is to develop the design of the previous tool so that the tool can be
reused without waiting for the cow to die completely and produce a tool design
that is in accordance with consumer desires. The design development method used
is Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The research results obtained in the form
of a design for the development of a sacrificial animal donor tool that considers
consumer needs with the criteria of easy cow removal, simple design, ease of
handling when donating, ease when slaughtering, strong materials, affordable
prices, easy to obtain spare parts and uncomplicated maintenance. From these
needs, development was obtained in the form of adding a slaughter table and legs
as a support for the donor frame. From the consumer assessment on the criteria
of consumer needs, it is found that the development design of the sacrificial
animal donor tool is in a very satisfying position.
