PENERAPAN ALGORITMA FP-GROWTH UNTUK REKOMENDASI PEMINJAMAN BUKU DI PERPUSTAKAAN

In the current digital era, libraries require efficient systems to assist users in
discovering relevant and interesting books. This research proposes the
implementation of the FP-Growth algorithm to develop a book borrowing
recommendation system in libraries. The FP-Growth algorithm is chosen for its
capability to handle large transaction data and to uncover significant associative
patterns between frequently co-occurring items. Using historical book borrowing
datasets from the library, the system analyzes user borrowing habits and provides
suitable book recommendations. The results show that this system can enhance
the user experience by offering more relevant and personalized recommendations.
This recommendation system also aids libraries in managing their book
collections more effectively.
