ANALISIS PENERAPAN METODE SYSTEMATIC LAYOUT PLANNING DAN 5S UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS DI CV. CAP PELANGI

CV. Cap Pelangi is one of the UMKM in the food sector that produces red
crackers. CV. Cap Pelangi can produce around 450-500 kg of red crackers per
day. Systematic Layout Planning is one of the procedures that outlines the steps in
the production layout planning process. The application of the 5S method is used
to create workplace order, improve work discipline, enhance work efficiency, and
improve overall company performance to increase productivity. In this study, an
additional stage using computer application, namely blocplan, was added.
Blocplan can create alternative layouts. In this research, 3 alternative layouts
were created. Based on manual calculations using the systematic layout planning
method, the initial material handling cost of the company is Rp. 47.882 per
month. The alternative layout selected using blocplan is the layout with the
highest adjscore, highest rscore, and lowest reldistscore. In this case, 3 selected
alternative layouts were obtained: layouts 2, 7, and 9.
