PERANCANGAN ULANG TATA LETAK FASILITAS PABRIK MENGGUNAKAN METODE SYSTEMATIC LAYOUT PLANNING DI CV INDOTEKNIK
CV Indoteknik is an UMKM scale company which operates in the manufacturing
sector, especially diesel and automotive spare parts. One of the items that is
widely produced is Slot Cutter Cylindrical Tubes. This research uses the
Systematic Layout Planning method to design, change and propose proposed
layouts. Create an Activity Relationship Chart diagram to determine the
relationship between stations. This research also uses a computer application to
create a proposed layout, namely Blocplan. For companies to gain profits, an
optimal and efficient layout has an impact on increasing productivity. Companies
must minimize distance and material handling costs. Data processing using
material handling aims to determine the material handling costs incurred by the
Company every month. The initial layout distance is 92.4 m with material handling
costs of IDR 174,438.43. Based on the results of the proposed layout obtained from
Blocplan, the distance for alternative layout 1 is reduced by 25.1 m and material
handling costs are also reduced to Rp. 102,379.46. The distance for alternative 2
is reduced by 28.6 m and material handling costs are also reduced to IDR
97,555.58. Meanwhile, for alternative layout 3, the distance is reduced by 31.1 m
and material handling costs are reduced to Rp. 95,495.16. Of the 3 proposed
layouts, alternative layout 3 is the most effective, because there is a reduction in
distance of 31.1 m and material handling costs are also reduced by IDR 78,943.2. Based on the distance reduction that has been obtained, the distance reduction
percentage is calculated, where the distance reduction percentage for alternative
layout 1 is 27.16%, alternative layout 2 is 30.95%, and alternative layout 3 is
33.65%.
