ANALISA DAN IDENTIFKASI PENGUKURAN KETELITIAN KOMPONEN MESIN BUBUT (MB5) TIPE G.D.W LZ350 DENGAN STANDAR ISO 1708
This study aims to analyze and identify the accuracy of lathe components (MB5) type
G.D.W LZ350 using ISO 1708 standards. Accuracy measurements are carried out to
ensure that the lathe meets international quality standards set by ISO. The
methodology used includes measuring key components of the lathe with measuring
instruments that have been calibrated according to ISO 1708 standards. The results
of the study indicate that there are components that do not meet the expected
accuracy standards, especially in the chuck section of the lathe. Chuck clearance
measurements show a deviation of 0.007 mm and chuck flatness of 0.001 mm. The
loose head is in very good condition, with no deflection or deformation detected
within the tested interval. The data obtained from these measurements can be used as
a basis for repair and adjustment of the machine to improve performance and
operational efficiency. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of
implementing ISO standards in measuring the accuracy of lathe components to
ensure the quality and reliability of the machine in production. The suggestions given
include routine maintenance, periodic calibration, operator training, laboratory
facility improvement, and further research to improve the accuracy and performance
of the lathe.
