PERANCANGAN TIMBANGAN DIGITAL PADA BIDANG PERTANIAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that connects everyday
objects to the internet, enabling them to communicate and exchange information.
IoT has been widely applied in various fields, including agriculture, to enhance
efficiency and automate processes. One application of IoT in agriculture is digital
weighing systems, which utilize IoT for automated data recording and convenient
monitoring. Monitoring can be done through an LCD on the device (offline) or
via a web dashboard on laptops and smartphones (online). This research aims to
design an IoT-based digital weighing system that can monitor the weight of
agricultural products, specifically oranges and watermelons, in real-time. The
system uses NodeMCU ESP8266, HX711 sensors, and load cells to measure the
weight of the harvest. The weight data is displayed on a website that serves as the
user interface. Testing was conducted on 100 oranges and 100 watermelons to
ensure the system's accuracy and performance. The results demonstrate that the
designed system provides highly accurate weight data and displays it in real-time
in graphical and tabular forms. The system includes a login feature for accessing
historical data, ensuring that only authorized users can access detailed
information. This system aims to make crop yield recording in the agricultural
sector more efficient and accurate.
