"PENGARUH TERPAAN KONTEN POLITIK DI AKUN TIKTOK @narasi TERHADAP LITERASI POLITIK PENGIKUTNYA"
Narasi is one of the companies engaged in the media sector in Indonesia. This company was
founded in July 2017 by a woman who is also a famous journalist in Indonesia named Najwa
Shihab. Narasi is not only on television programs, they have also expanded into the digital
realm such as Instagram, YouTube, and most recently TikTok. In their digital programs they
produce journalism content in the form of audio videos, talk shows, news reports,
documentaries, and other interaction spaces. This study aims to determine and analyze the
extent of the influence of media exposure variables on respondents, to determine the extent of
the influence of political literacy on respondents and to determine how exposure to political
content on the TikTok account @narasi affects the political literacy of its followers. This study
uses the S-R (Stimulus-Response) theory proposed by Ivan P. Pavlov, a Russian scholar and
scientist.
This study uses a quantitative method with a simple random sampling technique, has 3.1
million followers as the population and uses the Slovin formula with a total of 100 respondents
as the sample. The distribution of questionnaires via Google Form. The data analysis technique
in this study used simple linear regression and coefficient of determination (R2). The tool used
to process the research data is the SPSS version 23 application.
The results of this study obtained answers to the political content exposure variable with an
average score of 3.94 in the agree category. The answer obtained from the political literacy
variable was with an average score of 3.88 in the agree category. The regression coefficient
value was obtained Y = 2.856 + 0.916X 0.000 with a significance level of less than α = 0.05.
This means that there is an influence of exposure to political content on the @narasi tiktok
account on the political literacy of its followers of 65.7% and is included in the strong influence
category, while the remaining 34.3% is influenced by other factors, factors that were not
examined in this study.
