"PENGARUH MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM @kampung.wisata.sarugo TERHADAP MINAT BERKUNJUNG FOLLOWERS"
Instagram is one of the social media where users can interact, communicate, share with
other users virtually. The use of Instagram social media as an information media is currently
utilized by tourism groups in marketing tourist attractions to attract visitors/tourists. One of
the tourist attractions is the Sarugo tourist village located in West Sumatra. In this study, the
theory used is Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) and Stimulus-Organism-Response
(S-O-R). This study aims to analyze how much influence the Instagram social media
@kampung.wisata.sarugo has on the interest in visiting followers.
This study uses a quantitative research method with an explanatory research type. The
population of this study were followers of the Instagram account @kampung wisatasarugo
totaling 3,370 with a sample size of 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this study used
purposive sampling with predetermined characteristics. Data collection in this study used a
questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive data
analysis, simple regression analysis, and the T test. Data processing in this study used SPPS
ver 27 for Windows.
The results of this study indicate that the Instagram social media variable (X) has an
effect on the visiting interest variable (Y). From the results of the study, the regression equation
is obtained Y = 5.888 + 0.817 X with a constant value of 5.888 and a regression coefficient
value of X of 0.817 X. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test, it is known that
the R value = 0.564 with an R square value of 56.4%. which shows the amount of influence of
the Instagram social media variable @kampung.wisata.sarugo on visiting interest is included
in the moderate category while the remaining 43.6% is influenced by other variables not
included in this study.
