"KOMUNIKASI PEMBERDAYAAN PADA ASPEK SOSIAL EKONOMI BERBASIS CREATING SHARED VALUE (CSV) (STUDI PADA KELOMPOK USAHA BERSAMA (KUB) RUMAH JAHIT LESTARI PT PERTAMINA HULU ROKAN DURI)"
Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) Rumah Jahit Lestari is the first CSV-based CSR program of
PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Duri. KUB Rumah Jahit Lestari is a business in the field of FRC
(Flame Resistant Coverall) shirt convection which is a personal protective equipment for oil
and gas company field workers. This coverall business is a form of implementation of the CSV
concept between the company and its fostered partners. Now, this business is the only
distributor of coveralls in Sumatra and has even been duplicated in Rokan Hilir Regency in
2022. This study aims to determine and analyze empowerment communication in the CSR
program KUB Rumah Jahit Lestari PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan Duri.
This research uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in the form of
interviews conducted on 9 informants determined by puposive techniques, informants consist
of 2 facilitators or PIC (Person In Charge) of the CSR program KUB Rumah Jahit Lestari, 1
person in charge of KUB Rumah Jahit Lestari and 6 members. In analyzing the researchers
used the concept of elements of empowerment communication, namely, communicators
(facilitators), messages, communicants (beneficiaries), communication channels/media, and
feedback.
The results of this study show that the facilitator is the CSR staff of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan
Duri appointed by the company's management called PIC (Person In Charge) with its role as
an advisor, guiding and accompanying its fostered partners when involved in events and being
a liaison between stakeholders. The message conveyed by the PIC to the person in charge of
the Rumah Jahit Lestari KUB is informative and educative. The communication channels used
are Whatsapp social media and traditional media, namely blackboards and mading. The
beneficiaries are individuals who have skills in sewing, willingness to learn, regardless of their
age, gender, and last education. Feedback for Rumah Jahit Lestari KUB members, namely
increased skills, new experiences in the world of work, and in terms of economic fulfillment is
quite satisfying and socially they feel helped by the existence of employment opportunities. As
for PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, the feedback obtained from the community is SLO (Social
License To Operate).
